 Philips Shower Filter Systems

Clean, soft water - as easy as never

Tap water in Germany is subject to the most stringent controls. Nevertheless, there are good reasons to filter the water additionally: chlorination and outdated house pipes can lead foreign substances into your tap water, hard water can cause skin problems and damage the hair.

With the Philips shower filters you can enjoy clean and soft shower water - reliably and easily integrated into everyday life.

 Philips AWP1775 Inline Shower Filter

Pure, soft water in spring water quality.

The Philips in-line shower filter AWP1775 is simply mounted between the tap and shower hose and reliably filters your shower water. Oxidation reductions within the KDF filter remove harmful substances or convert them into harmless substances. Impurities such as rust and sediments are also removed. At the same time, the tap water is softened.

The dense and even water flow of generous 8 litres per minute ensures a pleasant shower experience with almost any shower (not suitable for rain showers).

Pollutant-free water even in old buildings.

Against residual chlorine: Free chlorine can be harmful to health and even carcinogenic. The KDF filter changes free chlorine into water-soluble, harmless chloride by oxidation reduction.

Against heavy metals: Especially in homes with old pipes, the concentration of heavy metals in tap water is often very high. The KDF filter media reliably removes heavy metals dissolved in the water (lead, mercury, arsenic, nickel, chrome, iron and other metals).

Against bacteria, fungi, algae and micro-organisms: Due to the bacteriostatic effect of the KDF filter medium, germination is not possible: The oxidation inside the filter acts like a disinfectant and destroys small organisms. Fungal and mould spores in the bath and shower area are reduced.

 Silky-soft shower water.

In many regions of Germany, tap water is hard or very hard.

In the bathroom, this apparently ensures limescale deposits on shower walls and fittings.

The minerals in hard tap water also dry out skin and scalp. Especially for sensitive skin or conditions such as eczema this can lead to dryness, dandruff, eczema and itching. In addition, the hair structure is roughened, the hair loses elasticity and shine and becomes dull.

The KDF filter media converts the limescale dissolved in the water and thus softens the water effectively. The shower filter ensures pleasant shower water, which feels noticeably softer on the skin. In addition, limescale deposits in the shower and on the fittings are reduced.
